What Will Your Legacy Be?

Your Temple Israel community is a community of shared values which embraces all with respect for our differences in age, race, income, gender identity and abilities.

As a leader and on the forefront of pursuing social justice, our members speak out and influence action on important issues of our time. We also are host to Beacon Academy, 14-month prep school for high school, the only one of its kind in the nation, which prepares urban students for the rigors of independent schools.

We have the infrastructure to ensure that generations of Jews will continue to be involved in synagogue life.

  • Hundreds of children are annually enrolled in our religious school.
  • Over 500 young adults attend our High Holy Day services and hundreds more who observe Shabbat and participate in monthly programs throughout the year through our modeled and sought-after Riverway Project, which recently celebrated its 13 year.
  • Our three year old families with young children program has reached 400 families and supports and welcomes them through pre-natal birthing classes, newborn play groups, and bi-monthly Shabbat events filed with song.

You can help Temple Israel continue and increase our capacity to engage, inspire, and captivate future generations, which we know is our only opportunity to secure a strong Jewish future.

The future of the Temple Israel community and the Jewish people is in your hands.
